ALARES, National Award


On the 4th of July, 2007 the National Awards ALARES   for the promotion of   " Conciliation of Professional, Family and Personal life ", were granted under the presidency of Honourable Amparo Valcerce, Secretary of State of Social Services, Family and Disabled, at the Real Fábrica de Tapices in Madrid.

Mr. Javier Benavente, President of the ALARES Foundation handed out the awards to experts and institutions selected by the members of the Jury of the Award:

As President of the jury of the  Alares® Award to Conciliation of Work, Family and Personal life, I have the pleasure of communicating to you that in the meeting of May 29th, the Jury decided unanimously to grant to the EUROPEAN INSTITUTE FOR MANAGING DIVERSITY EUROPEO   the National ALARES Award in the area of INNOVATION AND   DEVELOPMENT .

The Jury has valued   the contribution made by the EUROPEAN INSTITUE FOR MANAGING DIVERSITY in favour of the Conciliation of Professional, Family and Personal life as well  as the development of services to promote the personal autonomy and the attention to dependants.

Ms. Myrtha Casanova accepted this award in the name of all the EIMD members present in 21 countries in Europe and the over 600 collaborations of these organisations for the professional expertise and high commitment in the promotion of Diversity and Work/Life policies in Europe.

Ms. Casanova was also responsible for delivering   the speech in the name of all the award winners thanking the ALARES Foundation for this initiative which will contribute to the visibility and dissemination of Conciliation and Diversity inclusion policies by corporations and institutions in Spain.
